Wonderful old hotel that has flexible staff especially Kenny the manager. The units are brand-new with a view. The location is remote, right by the river under the bridge as well as the main restaurant.

Staff were amazin, super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was first class, and the evening meals were really good too. The room was comfy and warm, and it had a great shower. The location is perfect for walks and close to hadrian's wall. It was excellent value for money!
The weather was terrible , and we encountered a noisy kitchen fan that ruined some of our experience.

The food was excellent, especially the roast dinner on Sunday. My family appreciated the friendly staff. They even cooked breakfast to order!
My wife says that the toiletries were lacking for a family stay. A couple of extra bottles would really help, especially when traveling with a baby.

We had a wonderful night here, enjoying the lovely decor and a delicious three-course meal that hit the spot after a long day. There’s a cozy garden to unwind in and a sun terrace for some relaxing moments. The only downside was that our room was a bit snug, but it didn’t take away from our experience. ☀️

A lovely inn nestled in a beautiful area, offered a compact yet comfortable room, with an excellent en-suite shower. The breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable, with cooked-to-order options, while the evening meals were superb. The bar area was affected by flies, and the cleanliness of some tables could improve. Staff were friendly throughout the stay.
